We'll be there...it will be our first, so we may just be taking it in learning the swap culture and getting to meet ya'll. We are trying to decide what we are looking for. Still reasearching the types of birds and thier charachters, production and noisyness. Besides we don't have a coop set up yet, but our brooder is pretty much done. We'll just have to see.

See ya there.

Please peeps come, even if it is raining, I have been busting my hump to get the coop and run set up to get some hens this saturday. the wifey and I are so excited to start our chicken adventure!

I'll do my rain dance friday night while toasting some wild turkey :drinks:

We wouldn't have any chickens anyway, just a couple Roosters and Guineas. And of course Coturnix Quail and Chinese Blue Breasted Quail (Button Quail)
We may still come if it's not pouring cats and dogs.

Jimmy are the rabbits you may have for sale the ones that resemble wild rabbits ? do you think they would be good for dog training ? if so i may like to get some .
thanks rick :(|)

yes, they are san juans. excellant for beagle training, that was a big reason we chose san juans. right now we have a san juan male about a year old and some san juan x havana babies.(different father).

Well I went to http://www.Accuweather.com website and they are calling for mostly cloudy Saturday for Richmond.
I've had a few people tell me their forecasts are far more accurate then local TV weather and even Weather.com.
So... Fingers crossed their right and the others are wrong. :)

I hope it doesn't rain! I have a 10 x 10 coop with five chickens so, I really want to get some more. I think 12 would be a good number but I don't want to get them all at one swap.
See you guys there!!!

After taking the winter off totally I am looking forward to seeing everyone again! It will just be me and Wyatt this weekend (Jerod has to work) and I am looking for a few hens that are already laying for my chicken tractor. I don't have anything to sell unless someone is in the market for dogs!

Hi Jessica...
Good to see you again.
As I'm reading your post I'm thinking I've never met these folks before. Then I read Jerod and Wyatt and I'm guessing but you cleared it up at the end...

Weather Channel is still calling for 100% on Saturday with rain and thunder.
Don't know if I'll bring much to sell, but I will be there.
( With rain coat and umbrella)

Rain rain go away, come again another day.

I'll be there with my raincoat and umbrella too! I don't care what the weather says, I am going to a chicken swap and nothing is stopping me. LOL

Sledgefarm. I was wondering how old the delaware pullets will be as of tomorrow. Do you know what you will be asking for them?
