this was my second hatch with the brinsea. i think the humidity was too high at the begining of incubation and temp was too low. we ended up with 4 chicks out of 18. maybe a couple of eggs weren't fertile. will make some adjustments and try again.

Sorry to hear your hatch didn't go so well; kind of like my first one when we lost power for 3 days (I had 6/21 hatch and lost 2 after hatching). Here's to hoping your next one is close to 100%! :)

yeah, we contacted brinsea and i am going to try one more time . set 19 eggs this morning.

the buff one is a rhode island red X cubalaya, the other three are black jersey giant X cubalaya. i also have some barred rock X cubalaya. i will grow these out and pick out the best hens to keep.
